Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive maintenance needs.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults across a range of industrial equipment.
- Work on systems including motors, control panels, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Skills required for Maintenance Engineer:
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including fault-finding, wiring, and control systems.
- Experience with industrial manufacturing equipment and processes.
- A proactive problem-solver with excellent organisational skills.
