In-Person Science Tutor (Year 10) - NG17 Area
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Science tutor to provide in-person tuition for a Year 10 student based in NG17. The student has been receiving online tuition since September but now requires face-to-face support in a local venue.
Job Details:- Subject: Science (GCSE Level)
- Hours: 3 hours per week
- Day: Wednesday afternoon/evening (must be available)
- Location: NG17 (local venue provided)
- Rate: £30 per hour
- Start Date: ASAP
- Experience tutoring Science at GCSE level
- Ability to explain complex topics in an engaging and clear manner
- Reliable, patient, and supportive approach
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to ask questions and seek clarification
- Stay informed about educational trends, best practices, and curriculum updates to continuously enhance instructional approaches
- Maintain open and transparent communication with students, parents, and school staff regarding progress, challenges, and goals
- Must be able to deliver tuition in person in NG17
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
There is potential to take on more students in the nearby area if you would like to work additional hours.
