This Continuous Improvement role reports into the Plant Manager of an international manufacturing business. You will be joining the leadership team taking specific responsibility for production and process optimisation.
This Continuous Improvement role needs some with
- A hands-on approach
- Great communication, as you will be in a position where you are required to influence, without authority
- The ability to effectively manage all stakeholders in this manufacturing business
- A proven ability to manage change
- Continuous improvement experience which will include, lean and CapEx project management
After several years of multi-million-pound investment the continuous improvement focus now is on incremental wins which will include OEE and spoilage.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by engaging and developing people at all levels of the business in CI activities and leading cross-functional teams where required
- Drive improvement through the full value chain by supporting CI projects both at suppliers and customers.
- Drive, lead and encourage problem solving to minimise downtime, reduce waste and increase efficiency supported through the critical use of key KPIs with the aim of creating a continuous improvement culture.
- Present, Identify and lead projects across site including all cost reduction and CAPEX projects.
- Support production teams on improving manufacturing KPIs using data to inform decision making by ensuring a baseline is set and performance evolution is tracked.
Compensation:
Salary:                             Up to £58,000 – dependent on skills and experience
Annual Bonus:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 12.5%, subject to target results
Annual Leave:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 25 days basic + bank holidays. Holidays will increase with long service Â
