We're seeking a talented Transport Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading logistics company and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
This role is a permanent role working 5am-2pm, Monday to Friday.
What you'll do:
- Plan and optimise delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective operations.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage administrative tasks related to vehicle dispatch and driver hours.
- Collaborate with line managers to optimize resource allocation and minimize costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
What you'll need:
- Knowledge of driver hours regulations.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- A passion for logistics and supply chain management.
