The Company:

A national engineering company with 3 decades of experience within bespoke design, construction of water, energy, and environmental processing and engineering are looking for a Project Engineer to join their Engineering department reporting to the Project Manager.

The Candidate:

  • Will have previous mechanical Project Engineer experience
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Microsoft Project.
  • Experience of working in the Water Treatment industry will be a bonus
  • Full UK Driving license to cover the East Midlands and East Anglia regions on occasion

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the client on-site to outline and agree on the scope of work using the necessary resources.
  • Provide expert advice on repairing, refurbishing, or replacing equipment and machinery.
  • Ensure that estimates are completed and delivered on schedule, in line with service level agreements.
  • Participate in internal meetings for project launches and scope discussions with relevant departments.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the pre-construction process plan.
  • Attend external meetings for project start-ups, site visits, and design reviews.
  • Set up and attend technical meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Manage resources, budgets, project scope, and schedules with the site services team.
  • Prepare commissioning plans in collaboration with the site services team.
  • Ensure all required documentation for project handover and approvals is completed.
  • Confirm that health and safety documentation is in place and current.

Licence/Certification Required:

  • NVQ level 3 or HNC/HND in Engineering
  • CSCS Card
  • SMSTS trained
