An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Sonographer to join our busy and friendly team. This role is ideal for a well-motivated individual who holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent and is HCPC registered.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

Perform general medical, obstetrics, and gynaecology ultrasound including early pregnancy assessments.
Conduct specialist scans including MSK, neonatal hips and heads, head and neck, and contrast-enhanced ultrasound.
Report on all personal work and participate in the training of student sonographers.
Travel between Mansfield Community and Newark Hospitals as required.
Actively engage in the creation and development of a Community Diagnostic Centre at the Mansfield Community Hospital site.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Essential:
- DCR or BSc (Hons) in Radiography.
- DMU or Postgraduate qualification in ultrasound at M level.
- Evidence of further study.
- HCPC registered.
- Ability to report on own scans.
- Supervisory experience.
- Previous NHS experience.
Desirable:
- Specialist expertise in ultrasound, supported by practical experience.
- Teaching skills.
- Counselling course completion.
