The Company
Market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of specialist real-time passenger information systems and customer information systems primarily for the transportation and aerospace sectors.

Job Description
You will be responsible for:
* Managing Assembly teams for the manufacture and repair of electronic systems
* To ensure manufacturing deadlines and KPIs are achieved in line with expectations of the business
* Ensure high standards of right first time, efficiency and service level are consistently achieved
* Ensure good levels of communication within the Team.
* Provide positive support to team members as required.
* To adhere to and champion UK Health and Safety Regulations and safe working practices.
* To adhere to quality standards, factory rules and HR policies.
* To make positive contribution to continuous improvement activities.
* Establish good working relationship with the Repair team and key members of Manufacturing.
* Managing the reporting of Health and Safety issues / near misses

Knowledge/experience/skills
* Previous experience managing production/manufacturing teams
* Hold an understanding of manufacturing techniques and principles
* Previous experience in electronics manufacturing would be beneficial but not essential
