Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting for an experienced Purchaser to join our well established client.
Duties:
- The role reports directly to the head of operations and controls of all aspects of the primary supply chain.
- Daily processing of quotations, purchase orders, quality, and stock records.
- Follow up of purchase orders to ensure that the goods or services are delivered on time.
- Recording supplier contracts and vetting suppliers to ensure they comply with the requirements of the business.
- Seeking new supplier relationships and testing the competitiveness of incumbents regularly.
- Ensuring that best value for products and services is obtained.
- Proactive involvement in efficiency reviews and creating investment proposals where necessary.
Requirements:
- Excellentcommunication skills.
- Experience of working within a team.
- Experience working within a similar role in the Engineering sector.
- Basic Excel proficiency.
Additional information / Benefits:

Salary:30,000 - 33,000 Per Annum.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm.
