We are seeking enthusiastic Radiographers to join our dynamic teams. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for career development and continuous professional development (CPD), with experience to be gained in general radiography, CT rotation, and specialised areas such as accident and emergency work and orthopaedic radiography.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Perform x-ray examinations to a high standard, adhering to the Ionising Radiations Regulations 17 and the Ionising Radiations (Medical Exposures) Regulations 2017.
  • Communicate complex information effectively to patients, relatives, and staff concerning radiological examinations.
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and infection control in line with the Trust's policies.
  • Participate in the department's Quality Assurance and Standards setting programmes.
  • Undertake audits and assess own practice to continuously improve service quality.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and breakdowns in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Participate in the training of student radiographers, providing guidance and support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Essential:
    • DCR(R) or BSc (Hons) in Radiography.
    • HPC registration.
    • Broad experience in general radiography including A&E, orthopaedic, and theatre work.
  • Desirable:
    • Evidence of further study.
    • Experience in CT scanning and dental radiography.
    • Team working skills and voluntary work experience.
