Construction Buyer £30,000-£40,000 + Mon-Fri + Training + Company BenefitsSutton In Ashfield (commutable from Northampton/Mansfield/Derby)Are you a Buyer with a background in construction looking to step into an exciting new role with an opportunity to join a well-established SME that works on a variety of projects?On offer is the opportunity to join a close-knit company that has been around for over 50 years and works on a variety of commercial government projects such as hospitals, schools and council buildings.In this varied role you'll be responsible for the general buying of materials, plant purchase, cabin and skip hire, liaising with suppliers and clients and negotiating rates. You will also be dealing with invoices and keeping detailed records of a well organised procurement system as well as occasionally visiting sites. This is an 8.30-17.00, Monday-Friday role.This job is suited to a Buyer with a background in Construction looking to be a part of an independent SME that works on a variety of projects.The Role:

• General Buying of Materials
• Liaising With Suppliers and Clients
• Organising Procurement System

The Person:

• Construction Background
• Experience in Buying/Procurement
• Full UK driving licence
