GSL Education is currently recruiting for a Science Teacher to join a dynamic SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) School in Sutton. This role provides the opportunity to empower students who require additional support in a specialised educational environment.

About the Role:

As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEMH challenges.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans in alignment with the national curriculum while accommodating individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and support staff to ensure holistic support for students.
  • Actively contribute to the school’s ethos of care, understanding, and resilience.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in teaching Science, with experience in an SEMH setting preferred.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting students with additional needs.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
