Management Accountant

Your new companyYou will be joining a growing SME based close to Sutton. As a growing retail organisation, they seek a talented management accountant to deliver high quality monthly accounts. Your new roleReporting into the Head of Finance, you will be taking on a key role overseeing the accounting for the business on a day to day. You'll manage all aspects of bookkeeping including payables, receivables, reconciliations as well as month-end management accounts. You'll also be working with the wider team to manage inventory. At year end, you'll work with the external accountants to deliver accounts and statutory filings. This is a broad role and you'll be working closely with the senior leaders. What you'll need to succeedIn addition to your professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/equivalent), you should have proven experience working in SME and covering all areas of accounts up to month end. You should be a confident communicator and be comfortable in an autonomous environment where you'll be the main finance point of contact day to day.
