As the School Finance Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health and efficiency of the school. You will work closely with the finance team to manage day-to-day financial operations and provide essential support in the smooth running of the school's financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation and monitoring of the school budget.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
- Maintain accurate financial spreadsheets and databases.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
- Manage school fee payments and liaise with parents regarding outstanding balances.
- Provide administrative support for financial audits and other compliance requirements.
- Handle payroll processing and staff expense claims.
- Maintain financial records in accordance with school policies and statutory regulations.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience in finance administration, ideally within an educational setting.
- Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Be proficient in financial software (e.g., Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Be able to prioritize tasks and work efficiently to deadlines.
- Have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Be trustworthy and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- AAT qualification or similar is desirable, but not essential.
