Are you passionate about supporting science education and making a difference in the classroom?We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Science Technician to join our team in Sutton. This is a full-time, permanent position, where you will play a vital role in preparing and maintaining equipment, ensuring experiments run smoothly, and supporting both teachers and students in delivering high-quality science education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and setting up laboratory equipment and materials for practical science lessons.

  • Maintaining and organizing stock, ensuring all resources are available and in good condition.

  • Supporting the teaching staff during practical lessons and experiments.

  • Ensuring laboratory health and safety standards are met and maintained.

  • Assisting with the cleaning and tidying of laboratory spaces and equipment.

  • Providing technical support for a range of science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).

Key Requirements:

  • A science-backed degree (essential).

  • Previous experience as a Science Technician or in a similar role (desirable but not essential).

  • A strong understanding of science equipment and laboratory practices.
