Portfolio Repair Surveyor
A sound knowledge and understanding of repairs and maintenance, and schedule of rates.
- A sound knowledge and understanding of traditional and modern construction practices, best practice, and associated Regulations.
- The ability to prepare basic construction drawings and draft specification.
- Experience of property maintenance work in housing that has included undertaking property inspections, diagnosing common property defects and supervising the work of contractors.
- Experience of delivering planned maintenance programmes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of materials, trades, construction methods and legal/statutory requirements
- Experience of managing works to turn around void properties.
- Experience of monitoring budgets.
- Understanding and experience of leasehold service charging including consultation requirements for
- qualifying works (section 20).
- An understanding of the Housing, Health & Safety Rating Guidance (HHSRS: Guidance for Landlords and Property-Related Professionals) and practical knowledge of how to assess.
- Thorough understanding and experience of risk management in a range of environments in order to take informed decisions.

Qualifications
- Higher level technical qualification (e.g. HND/C) in building surveying or relevant subject, or equivalent experience
