We are partnering with a construction company specialising in decorative plasterwork for prestigious projects. They are currently seeking a Project Manager to join their team.

Location: Office in Sutton, with sites across Central London.

Salary: Up to £60K per annum, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard and within the project timeline.
  • Manage site teams and resources across various projects to ensure timely delivery.
  • Oversee the commercial management of projects.
  • Act as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Review client drawings and programmes, preparing subprogrammes to meet requirements or flag potential issues.
  • Coordinate material orders from the workshop for timely delivery to sites.
  • Ensure all site work is completed safely and work areas remain tidy.
  • Write method statements and risk assessments as necessary.
  • Manage projects from order through to final account, including monthly valuations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction, ideally in a related sector (e.g. ceilings, dry-lining, joinery, contracting).
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Proficient in Excel and other relevant software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and improve.
  • Experience in preparing and reading drawings and programmes of works.
