This is a Top 40 Accounting firm with a focus on the South & Central regions, with a clear expertise in working with entrepreneurial businesses and private individuals. Having gone through unprecedented levels of growth recently, including over 100% growth YOY to the revenue line and lots of office expansions – they are now hiring an Accounts Partner to be a driver of the next stage of their growth!

As the Accounts Partner for the firm, you will be looking to after a readymade portfolio of owner-managed business clients and corporates, as well as providing strategic direction on the firm’s growth plans. You will of course need to manage the accounts team, and work with other service lines to ensure clients receive the best possible service. Responsibilities:As an Accounts Partner, you will…

  • Work on a portfolio of accounts clients, predominantly from the OMB space, but including some corporates also.
  • Offer business advice and collaborate with other service lines in the firm to advise on growth, M&A, succession planning, and more for OMB and Corporate clients.
  • Work with Directors and the wider accounts team to ensure the firm provides high-quality service for clients
  • Management of an overarching strategy for the Accounts team, primarily in the South West London office, using the expertise of the Board where needed

Requirements:As an Accounts Partner, you will need…

  • Relevant qualification (ACA, ACCA etc.)
  • Demonstrable experience operating within a high performing Accounts service line for a UK practice
  • Strong knowledge of various UK accounting standards such as FRS 102, FRS 105 etc.
  • Knowledge of IFRs would be an advantage but not a pre-requisite
