Seeking an experienced Accounts Partner working within an established UK Accounts Practice. Someone who is ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 7+ years post-qualified experience in a UK practice environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage and grow a varied portfolio of client accounts, primarily comprising owner-managed businesses ("OMB"); overseeing the delivery of all services to your clients.
- Offer strategic business advice and collaborate with specialists within the firm where required on growth, acquisitions and mergers, succession planning, and other critical business decisions for OMB.
- Expand the client base in South London.
- Play a key role in networking, business development, and marketing activities to grow your network and win new client accounts.
- Work closely with Directors and the accounts team to ensure the firm provides a full range of high-quality account services for clients.
- Measure and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) within your portfolio and office, working with your team and clients to achieve suitable targets, including GP, recoveries, and billings.
- Create and implement an accounts business strategy, primarily for your office, consulting, and drawing upon the expertise of the Board.
- Plan and manage the work being delivered by the accounts team in Sutton, working with colleagues to ensure appropriate resources are available for the work in the office.
- Line manage and develop senior staff in the accounts team.
- Further develop the firm's relationship with the International network.

We would like to hear from you if you have a minimum of 10+ years of UK accounts experience from either a small or medium-sized/mid-tier firm. You will also have the following:
- ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 7+ years post-qualified experience in a UK practice environment.
- Significant and demonstrable experience in an accounts team dealing mainly with OMBs.
- Strong UK accounts knowledge across FRS102, FRS102 1A, and FRS105. Experience of IFRS/FRS101 would be an advantage.
- Excellent and proven client relationship management skills and success in business development.
- Previous experience in building a portfolio of clients, increasing revenue, and profitability.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in leading client/business development seminars.
- A highly commercial approach.
