I am working with a well-established accountancy practice based in Sutton who now have an opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to join their accounts team.

Your role as an Accounts Partner:

  • You will manage and grow a varied portfolio of accountancy clients, particularly with OMB clients.
  • Oversee the work of the accounts team, delegate work where required, manage and mentor senior staff.
  • Collaborate with in-house specialists on growth, acquisitions, mergers, succession planning and other key business decisions.
  • You will also play a strong role in business development, identifying new initiatives, expand the firm's presence locally and be involved in networking and marketing.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • ACCA/ACA Qualified with at least 7 years post qualification experience
  • Strong UK accounts reporting standard knowledge including FRS 102, FRS 102A and FRS 105.
  • You will have experience in managing OMB accounts.
  • Strong communication skills and the desire to drive a team forward and develop both new and existing client relationship.
