Pinpoint Resourcing are currently partnered with a highly succesfulHealthare Business to source an FP&A leader on a permanent basis.

Main Goal

Provide robust, user-friendly reporting & analysis; to support the business in decision making and delivering objectives. Reporting to Group FC/CFO work across a team of informed and insightful trusted advisers providing high quality, commercially focused, finance business partnering to the Board and their teams; to support and challenge the business towards delivering the Group Strategy and Budget

Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Have full ownership of the FP&A function.
  • Ownership of budgeting and forecasting processes, supporting commercial finance. Responsible for developing and monitoring KPI's in order to deliver the forecasts.
  • Improvement of budgeting and forecasting processes by developing financial modelling and forecasting tools.
  • Overseeing all reporting requirements delivered by the Leadership Team across all commercial outputs.
  • Driving improvements in collaboration with key stakeholders, implementing change if necessary.
  • Use knowledge of economics and accounting to provide financial analysis that will improve business performance and drive profitability growth.
  • Determine best course of action to mitigate financial risks.
  • Identify weaknesses and perform risk evaluations of the company business plan and financial model.
  • Analyse both current and past trends in the business units
  • Producing flash reporting for Leadership team.
  • Identify key trends and performance drivers, which provide Business Partners with data
  • Providing and reviewing analysis to provide clarity and understanding of performance information for the Leadership Team and Senior Management Team.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

  • The successful candidate will be qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with first time passes and strong academic background and clear examples of business success in roles already held. There are clear future progression opportunities available for the individual who can demonstrate drive, determination and ultimately achieve results. Most importantly, the individual will be confident with significant gravitas, able to challenge senior management and be a self-starter with the ability to implement change.
  • The individual will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, is analytical in their way of thinking and passionate about numbers and be able to thrive under pressure whilst working collaboratively with the immediate team and other teams in the business.
