Accounts & CT Administrator
Location: Sutton
Salary: £25,000 to £27,000
Our client is a top 40 accountancy practice with several offices in Central and Southern England. To support the organisation’s growth, our clients have created a new opportunity for Accounts & CT Administrator to join their Sutton office. This is a permanent full-time role that will work across the Accounts service line to ensure accurate and timely administration. Salary: £25,000 to £27,000
Accounts & CT Administrator - your key responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for maintaining organised and secure records of clients’ documents, returns, and correspondence across offices.
- Ensure compliance with record retention policies and data security standards.
- Communicate with clients in a clear and professional manner, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Provide guidance on deadlines and required documentation.
- Submit accounts electronically or by mail to relevant authorities in accordance with deadlines.
- Verify the acceptance and processing of submitted accounts and address any issues that may arise.
- Take ownership of the Corporate Tax payment reminder process, drafting CT reminder letters and emails.
- CT Submissions & CT repayments - chasing and monitoring.
- Dealing with general day to day administration for the team.
- Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients to ensure their long-term satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to expand services or refer clients to other professionals when necessary.
- Liaising with HMRC where necessary.

About You
- GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 5 or above
- Proven communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong IT skills, specifically MS Suite and able to pick up new IT packages very quickly
- Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A positive, confident and proactive attitude
- Enjoy working as part of a team and self-motivated
- Relevant work experience and/or experience of working within a fast paced office environment would be great but is not essential
