Joinery Estimator Required In Sutton
WFH position with 1 day a week in the office
We are working with an existing client who are looking for an experienced joinery Estimator to join their team and drive the business forward.
They provide a fast turnkey service within the commercial sector, they design, manufacture and Install bespoke furniture, reception desks and cabinetry.You must be able to demonstrate working for Joinery subcontractor on commercial projects.
As a Joinery Estimator you will:
- Provide a complete estimation service for all joinery products
- Providing support for the full life cycle of projects, including establishing timescales, budgets and resources
- Enable maximum profit, smooth running and on schedule deliverables of projects
- Interrogation of Bills of Quantities, Schedules, Specifications and Architect's drawings
- Build relationships with clients
- Control and manage all aspects of the estimating process
- Liaise with Internal Managerial teams
- Ensure appropriate method of measurement are used
- To produce innovative and effective tenders
- Ensure clients are always provided with a first-class service
- To attend site visits if required
- To attend tender meetings as required
- To visit clients and develop relationships
- To chase and obtain responses for tenders submitted
- To complete post tender costing and negotiating
- To complete tender handover meetings as required
As Joinery Estimator you must have/be:
- Joinery sub contractor knowledge as an Estimator
- Phone / Personal skills in a confident and professional manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Friendly and helpful
- Negotiation skills
- Works well under pressure
- Detailed oriented and accurate
- Detail oriented and accurate
