Our client has a fantasic Flowers & Gardening Department as a Floristry Tutor. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a program that delivers highly recognised NCFE and City & Guilds qualifications in floristry. Ideal for those passionate about combining traditional and contemporary design skills in a world-class teaching environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities of a Floristory Tutor:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons in floristry, adhering to the curriculum and ensuring that all students meet their learning objectives.
  • Prepare course materials and plan lessons that cater to different levels of students, from entry level up to level 3.
  • Utilise the fully equipped penthouse studio to provide practical, hands-on instruction in various floristry techniques.
  • Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support students in their creative and professional development.
  • Contribute to the department’s efforts in sustainable floristry and integrate these principles into teaching and course materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Floristry Tutor role:
  • Proven experience as a floristry tutor or extensive experience in the floristry industry.
  • Qualified to teach at least up to NCFE and City & Guilds level 3 in floristry.
  • Strong understanding of both traditional and contemporary floristry techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and motivating learners.
  • Commitment to sustainability and the ability to incorporate this into teaching practices.
