Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We're looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Sutton, where you'll play a vital role in helping students reach their potential in a warm and inclusive environment.

Your Role:

  • Provide focused, individual support to students with SEN, helping them work toward their learning and personal development goals.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to implement and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Promote a positive and nurturing classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional growth.
  • Support classroom activities, making sure all students feel engaged, included, and supported.
  • Liaise regularly with parents and caregivers, sharing progress updates and celebrating achievements.

Who You Are:

  • Experience working with SEN children is beneficial, but we're primarily looking for a compassionate, patient, and motivated individual.
  • Flexible and creative in adapting support strategies to fit various learning styles.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both the school team and families.
  • A driver's license and access to a vehicle are preferred for convenience, but not required.
