Curriculum Manager

Sutton Council are looking for a Curriculum Manager to join their SEND Team. This role is 5 days a week on side, with a possibility of 1 day from home. As a Curriculum Manager you will:

  • Manage the planning, development, delivery and monitoring of all the allocated departments, ensuring that the curriculum in planned and delivered efficiently and effectively, and compliant with funding regulations
  • Act as a line manager for a number of tutors, assessors and IQAs, monitoring and managing performance objectives and reviews
  • Lead on an work closely with the College marketing team to build relationships with new stakeholders and partners, with a focus on income growth
  • Ensure that all data requirements are maintained, records are up to date and accurate and deadlines for returns are made
  • Work closely with the Director of Curriculum and Curriculum leader to ensure the quality of provision, strong retention and achievement rates are met

Requirements

  • Experience and up-to-date knowledge of policies, initiatives and developments of post 16 Education and training
  • Proven track record and experience of managing people to achieve excellent standards in teaching and learning
  • Experience of contributing towards successful curriculum development and innovation resulting in improved efficiency and effectiveness
  • Experience of Ofsted Inspections and the Common Inspection Framework, External Verification, audits and other regulatory checks
  • Relevant Teaching Qualification
