British Sign Language (BSL) Teaching Assistant in a Nursery Classroom
Location: Sutton
Hours: 8:30 am - 11:45 am
Rate: 50 per half-day
Are you a compassionate, skilled BSL communicator with a passion for supporting young learners? A primary school in Sutton is seeking a BSL Teaching Assistant to provide crucial support to students for the entire academic year.
Role Details:
- Schedule: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 11:45 am
- Pay: 50 per half-day
- Duration: Full academic year
Responsibilities:
- Support and communicate with students using British Sign Language
- Assist the classroom teacher in creating an inclusive, accessible learning environment
- Engage students in interactive and enriching educational activities
- Foster students' confidence and learning in a safe and supportive space
Ideal Candidate:
- Proficient in BSL
- Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting
- Patient, positive, and dedicated to making a difference in young lives
