British Sign Language (BSL) Teaching Assistant in a Nursery Classroom
Location: Sutton

Hours: 8:30 am - 11:45 am

Rate: 50 per half-day

Are you a compassionate, skilled BSL communicator with a passion for supporting young learners? A primary school in Sutton is seeking a BSL Teaching Assistant to provide crucial support to students for the entire academic year.

Role Details:

Schedule: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 11:45 am
Pay: 50 per half-day
Duration: Full academic year

Responsibilities:

Support and communicate with students using British Sign Language
Assist the classroom teacher in creating an inclusive, accessible learning environment
Engage students in interactive and enriching educational activities
Foster students' confidence and learning in a safe and supportive space

Ideal Candidate:

Proficient in BSL
Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting
Patient, positive, and dedicated to making a difference in young lives
