## Responsibilities
- Direct vehicles: Ensure vehicles move safely and don't cause accidents or traffic
- Communicate with drivers: Use hand signals or radio to guide drivers
- Create safe traffic systems: Recommend and lay out safe traffic systems
- Provide clear directions: Give clear, correct, and safe directions to plant operators
- Monitor for obstructions: Watch for obstructions and other vehicle movements
- Keep pedestrian areas clear: Keep traffic areas free of pedestrians
- Report incidents: Report near miss incidents to relevant supervisors
- Comply with safety policies: Comply with all health, safety, HR, and environmental policies and procedures
## Qualifications
- Valid CPCS Card
- Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within a prison environment, would be beneficial
- Ability to pass an enhanced level 1 vetting check
