Account Executive

We are looking for an Account Executive to manage the administration of the Premier League Medical Care Scheme and the ‘FA’ non-league Accounts. The role involves ensuring timely, accurate, and effective administration, including assessment against scheme-specific benefit limits, eligibility, and rules. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Administer the Premier League Medical Care Scheme and the ‘FA’ non-league Accounts.
  • Manage cheque runs for both schemes and address any related queries.
  • Handle customer enquiries and provide analysis on schemes as requested.
  • Perform accurate data input for invoice processing and membership data.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice queries, including provider errors and bank checks.
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc scheme and club analysis, reporting on trends.
  • Assist with financial analysis, including reconciliation against bank transactions.
  • Provide cover for other employees and assist with directing incoming post.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Team working ability and a complete understanding of scheme rules and benefits.
  • Knowledge and application of pricing agreements at Health Partners and local club levels.
  • Empathy with members’ treatment requirements and the ability to adjudicate claims sensitively.
  • Interpersonal skills to deal with contentious issues with high-profile individuals.
  • Proficiency in data input and financial analysis.
  • Experience with SQL notes and documentation of calls is advantageous.
