Litigation Legal Secretary

Do you have experience in either litigation or family law? Are you a legal secretary looking for the next step in your career? Or are you a legal secretary wanting to work closer to home? If so, our client is excited to welcome a dedicated and experienced legal secretary to support their dynamic litigation team. They are looking for someone with a background in either litigation or family law who thrives in a busy environment and is eager to contribute to the firm's success.

Responsibilities

As a key member of the team, you will provide essential secretarial support to your litigation team, and occasionally to other legal teams within the firm. Your role will involve:

  • Managing client communications and providing excellent client care.
  • Typing, managing files, and maintaining diaries.
  • Handling telephone cover and invoicing.
  • Performing general office duties to ensure smooth operations.

Skills and Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of legal secretarial experience within a litigation or family law team.
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Experience with case management systems and digital dictation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a professional telephone manner.
  • The ability to maintain a professional appearance, multitask, and prioritise effectively.
