The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee the construction of this significant education project. You will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all site activities, ensuring compliance with project schedules.
- Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the project team to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate site reports and documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry, particularly in new build RC projects.
- Tier 1 main contracting experience
- Strong understanding of construction processes, quality control, and safety management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid) are essential.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
