Job Overview:Seeking a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care to individuals undergoing cancer treatment, helping them regain function and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions for cancer patients.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
- Develop individualized care plans to address physical, emotional, and social challenges.
- Educate patients, families, and carers on managing daily activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to service development.
Key Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in oncology or working with complex patient needs (preferred).
- Strong assessment and rehabilitation planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a varied and complex caseload independently.
