The Role:I am looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher for a one-year fixed term contract. You will play a pivotal role in delivering a rich and engaging curriculum while fostering a love for learning in every child. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive and forward-thinking school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all pupils to thrive.
- Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with SEND and EAL.
- Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support holistic student outcomes.
- Uphold safeguarding and school policies to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
What We’re Looking For:The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have experience teaching at KS1.
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
- Have a strong understanding of inclusive practices and be skilled in adapting teaching to meet diverse learner needs.
- Be committed to fostering a positive and nurturing classroom ethos.
- Bring energy, creativity, and a desire to continually improve as an educator.
