Are you a Project Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in the Sutton, Surrey area?

My client, one of the largest and most successful privately owned Tier 1 main contractors in the UK, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Construction division. Renowned for their commitment to client satisfaction and excellence, they deliver high-value commercial projects ranging from £20M to £100M.

The Role
As a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering projects from conception to completion. Depending on the size and scope of the project, you’ll work alongside a talented team of supervisors, Assistant Site Managers, Senior Site Managers, and Contracts Managers. This position is ideal for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact, drive results, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, embodying the company’s Core Values.
  • Ensure successful project delivery, maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Provide leadership to on-site teams, promoting collaboration and motivation.
  • Adapt to change with a flexible, client-focused approach.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record of 5+ years working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor, with significant commercial project experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge in Project Management.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
  • Communication: Excellent skills in building relationships and managing key parties.
  • Attention to Detail: Focus on quality control and process improvement.
  • Tools: Familiarity with project management software and documentation systems.
  • Must hold valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
