The role - Behaviour Mentor - Sutton

In your role as a behaviour mentor, you'll support young people who exhibit challenging behaviour within and outside of the classroom. It is crucial that a behaviour mentor has experience working with challenging behaviour and can think quickly and on their feet in an emergency. Students with behaviour mentors receive academic support from their teachers in the classroom. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support or lead interventions based on the individual or group student's needs. You will be responsible for communicating with the class teacher and the members of the behavioural team about the progress of the students in your class.
