Trade Counter Assistant

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Permanent Trade Counter Assistant with my well-established client based in Cheam. This role will consist of promoting and selling the company’s products to trade and retail customers when they approach the counter.

You will be maximizing sales opportunities by offering excellent customer service at reception to any potential customers and assisting with any queries they may have. You will be expected to provide customers with a knowledgeable, friendly, and dependable service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with suppliers and other branches and departments when necessary.
  • Supporting the Branch Manager and colleagues in working as a team to ensure the branch operated efficiently and effectively within the Company Policy.
  • Ensuring shop stock is clean, clearly identifiable, and kept in good order.
  • Ensuring any low stock is highlighted to the Branch Manager when necessary.
  • Performing stock taking duties when required.
  • Maintaining a clean and efficiently merchandised counter in line with Company Polices.
  • Ensuring the Company Polices are always followed when producing paperwork associated with sales.

The role is a Monday to Friday position. They are offering an annual salary of £28.5-30k with the opportunity for an end-of-year bonus depending on the work ethic.
