We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a vibrant and well-resourced Art & Design department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a motivated ECT eager to make a real impact on students’ creativity and artistic development.

The Role:

  • Teach Art & Design across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5
  • Deliver engaging and practical lessons in a variety of artistic mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media
  • Encourage creative thinking, experimentation, and self-expression in students
  • Plan, assess, and track student progress to ensure high achievement and personal development
  • Contribute to the wider school community through art exhibitions, workshops, and extracurricular activities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Art & Design at secondary school level
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and exam board requirements
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A passion for art education and inspiring young creatives
