Position: Art Teacher
Key Stages: KS3 - KS5
Location: Sutton
Start Date: April 2025
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a vibrant and well-resourced Art & Design department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a motivated ECT eager to make a real impact on students’ creativity and artistic development.
The Role:
- Teach Art & Design across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5
- Deliver engaging and practical lessons in a variety of artistic mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media
- Encourage creative thinking, experimentation, and self-expression in students
- Plan, assess, and track student progress to ensure high achievement and personal development
- Contribute to the wider school community through art exhibitions, workshops, and extracurricular activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Art & Design at secondary school level
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and exam board requirements
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for art education and inspiring young creatives
