About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher to join a thriving English department. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher (NQT/ECT) eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
As an English teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons to students across KS3 and KS4 (with potential KS5 opportunities for the right candidate).
- Inspire a love for literature, language, and critical thinking.
- Plan and implement creative and differentiated lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress to help them achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and participate in extracurricular activities, such as book clubs, drama productions, or writing workshops.

About You
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it.
- Has a strong academic background in English literature and/or language.
- Is passionate about inspiring students and fostering a love for English.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Is committed to upholding high standards of teaching and learning.
