About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher to join a thriving English department. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher (NQT/ECT) eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment.

As an English teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons to students across KS3 and KS4 (with potential KS5 opportunities for the right candidate).
  • Inspire a love for literature, language, and critical thinking.
  • Plan and implement creative and differentiated lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and participate in extracurricular activities, such as book clubs, drama productions, or writing workshops.
