Position: Geography Teacher
Key Stages: KS3 - KS5
Location: Sutton
Start Date: April 2025
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Sutton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a committed ECT to make a real impact on students' learning and understanding of the world around them.
The Role:
- Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5
- Deliver high-quality lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for the environment
- Plan and assess effectively to ensure excellent student progress
- Use interactive teaching methods, including fieldwork and technology, to enhance learning
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, trips, and geography-related events
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary school level
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and exam board requirements
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for developing geographical awareness and environmental responsibility in students
