Role: Field Service Engineer – Compressors & Compressed Air Systems

We’re looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our team where you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our company's compressed air products and systems at customer sites.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Job type: Full time, permanent

Working pattern: Hours 8.00am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

(OT available but not compulsary)

Essentials requirements:

Must have previous experience working with/on industrial air systems or as a compressor engineer

Full driving license required

Ability to live and work in the UK

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of various compressors, dryers, and ancillary equipment promptly.
  • Understand and adhere to manufacturer instructions and company policies.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of compressors, dryers, and compressed air systems.
  • Read, interpret, and understand equipment manuals and drawings from manufacturers.
  • Report daily updates on workload, additional work required, and accurate maintenance reports to the service team.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on multiple compressor systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of compressor technologies and possess strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
  • Knowledge of energy-saving systems and control systems is a plus.
  • Commit to customer service, maintaining professional relationships with customers and coworkers.
  • Communicate effectively with customers at all levels.
  • Complete job reports electronically.
  • Instruct customers on equipment operation, safety, new features, and recommend upgrades.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Accurately and comprehensively document service activities.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
  • Stay updated on product developments, industry regulations, and best practices through continuous learning and training.
