My client is looking for an experienced Assistant Team Manager to join their Mental Health Social Care Team. Reporting to the Team Manager, you will support team operations, staff support and workload allocation. You will provide ongoing supervision to staff, provide duty manager cover and offer guidance while leveraging the expertise of the Team Manager for support on complex cases. Additionally, you will contribute to ensuring that commissioned services are cost-effective and, where appropriate, participate in the co-production of service improvements with service users and family care. The team contributes to meeting our statutory duties under the Care Act and Mental Health Act and provides an opportunity to contribute to our strength-based approach, focused on achieving the best outcomes for our service users. The Mental Health Team consists of two ATMs, with both assisting in supporting the Mental Health teams day to day functions as part of the Duty Manager rota, including acting as Safeguarding Manager for statutory safeguarding enquiries. Suitable candidates must have a degree in social work, be on SWE and have extensive post qualification experience in a similar team. Please apply today for more information
