About the Role:

As a Residential Children’s Support Worker, you will:

  • Key Worker: Take on the responsibility of being a key worker for children and young people in residence.
  • Creativity: Develop programmes and create warm, stimulating experiences for children and young people, including out-of-unit activities like holidays.
  • Preparation: Plan, prepare, and facilitate group work with a mix of ages and abilities, and carry out agreed plans.
  • Flexibility: Work two out of three weekends, whether full-time or part-time, based on the rota.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Experience: Recent experience of working in a childcare environment with the ability to work weekends.
  • Skills: Good observation and assessment skills with the ability to understand and enjoy challenges.
