About the Role

As a Social Worker or Senior Social Worker, you will work with adults with learning disabilities and their families to provide person-centered support and advocacy. You will assess needs, develop care plans, and work closely with partner agencies to ensure safeguarding, well-being, and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct strengths-based assessments and develop tailored support plans.
  • Work with individuals, families, and multi-agency partners to promote independence and well-being.
  • Ensure all work is compliant with the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding principles.
  • Manage a caseload, including complex cases requiring critical decision-making.
  • Advocate for service users, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights protected.
About You

? A qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.? Experience working with adults with learning disabilities or in adult social care.? Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.? Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.? A commitment to person-centered care and promoting independence.
