Tradewind have a fantastic opportunity for a KS1 LSA on behalf of an excellent mainstream primary school based in Sutton.

The school are seeking a talented Learning Support Assistant with a positive attitude and a genuine interested in supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis. With a great range of facilities to support SEND pupils, the school are happy to offer SEN training for new TA's joining the team.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting pupils with Autism in an educational setting, as well as a natural ability to work well with children!

About the role:

  • Support a child in Year 2 on a 1:1 basis
  • This pupil has moderate Autism
  • Lead intervention sessions for your key pupil, as well as other children in the class
  • Follow pupil's Education Health Care Plan (EHCP)
  • Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4pm

Requirements:

  • Some experience supporting children with SEN, ideally Autism
  • Experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant is desirable
  • Confident, friendly and dedicated!
  • Must be available Monday - Friday and on a long-term basis
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
