Academics LTD are currently working with this fantastic Primary school based in the central part of Sutton. The school has a brilliant reputation for excellent academic results and brilliant pastoral care where no children are left behind. Children attending the school with SEN and barriers to learning make good progress due to high quality teaching and the excellent relationships built with visiting professionals who support their needs. The Headteacher is ready to interview and appoint an experienced Learning Support Assistant, with ideally at least six months experience working with children with SEN (Voluntary or Paid) to work with one of their children in Year 1 with Autism.

Full training will be provided to work with child, but previous experience working with children with ASD would be advantageous. The child is currently working steadily with their current TA who works with the child on the other days of the week is starting a course so part time cover will be required one to two days a week. The child is friendly and a great to work with. The team have a high quality Education al Health Care Plan in place, that the child responds well and is making good progress.. This role would suit a Teaching Assistant who is diligent, positive and can make learning fun. You will need to be able to communicate to a high standard both verbally and in writing and be emotionally intelligent.

The child is funny and smart and you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on his school life next year. The child's parents are very supportive of the school and their work with their child.
