SEN Teaching Assistants – Supply Work (Secondary Schools, Sutton)

Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in secondary schools across Sutton? Do you have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a passion for making a difference? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants (TAs) for supply work in a range of mainstream and SEN secondary school settings. Whether you’re looking for day-to-day, short-term, or long-term placements, we have opportunities to suit your availability.

The Role:

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties
  • Assist teachers in delivering differentiated learning tailored to individual student needs
  • Help create an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment
  • Support students with their social, emotional, and academic development
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other school staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with SEN students in a secondary school setting (preferred)
  • A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and differentiation
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • A passion for supporting students with additional learning needs
