  • Experience supporting children with SEN, specifically with Speech and Language needs (S&L).

  • Excellent communication skills, both with children and staff.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to children in Year 4 and Year 5 with Speech and Language difficulties.
  • Assisting with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and supporting students in achieving their learning goals.
  • Helping students develop their communication skills through various activities and tailored interventions.
  • Supporting the classroom teacher in managing behaviour and providing additional assistance as needed.
  • Working collaboratively with the SENCo, class teachers, and other staff to ensure a holistic and inclusive approach to learning.
