Our client, a leading organisation in Sutton, Surrey, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team. Your Role:As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the supply chain. Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding the Supply Chain: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our client's supply chain model and business processes, including key partners and market sectors.
- Building Relationships: Foster strong relationships with supply chain partners, internal teams, customers, and principal suppliers.
- Driving Improvement: Lead the review of non-conformances, driving communication and issue resolution while focusing on performance enhancement.
- Operational Management: Utilise a structured, data-driven approach to manage and respond to live supply chain operational requirements.
- Supporting Strategic Goals: Assist the Supply Chain Manager with compliance, performance, solutions, digital transformation, and sustainability initiatives.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Be prepared to take on any additional tasks as required.
Ideal Candidate:
- Professional and customer-focused, with an unwavering attention to detail
- Experienced in supply chain, logistics, or international trade
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong in analytical skills with the ability to identify key trends within data
- Equipped with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Organised and adept at time management
- Experienced in the chemical distribution and/or sales and marketing industry
