Your Role:As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the supply chain. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding the Supply Chain: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our client's supply chain model and business processes, including key partners and market sectors.
  • Building Relationships: Foster strong relationships with supply chain partners, internal teams, customers, and principal suppliers.
  • Driving Improvement: Lead the review of non-conformances, driving communication and issue resolution while focusing on performance enhancement.
  • Operational Management: Utilise a structured, data-driven approach to manage and respond to live supply chain operational requirements.
  • Supporting Strategic Goals: Assist the Supply Chain Manager with compliance, performance, solutions, digital transformation, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Be prepared to take on any additional tasks as required.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Professional and customer-focused, with an unwavering attention to detail
  • Experienced in supply chain, logistics, or international trade
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong in analytical skills with the ability to identify key trends within data
  • Equipped with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Organised and adept at time management
  • Experienced in the chemical distribution and/or sales and marketing industry
