The London Borough of Sutton is seeking a Sessional ESOL Tutor for an initial 3-month contract, requiring 18 hours of work per week, including occasional evening sessions until 9:30 PM.
The position offers a pay rate of £24 per hour through an umbrella company, or £19 per hour on a PAYE basis.
The tutor will be responsible for planning, preparing, delivering, and evaluating courses from Entry Level up to Level 2 qualifications.
Candidates must have experience delivering ESOL qualifications up to Level 2, preferably with the Trinity exam board, along with an appropriate teaching qualification for the Post 16 sector.
Experience in Adult Education or Further Education is also required for this role.

Undertake a teaching commitment for the work offered and you are available for
Plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate all courses you are responsible for
Deliver stimulating sessions that will inspire learners
Set high expectations for learners from the start of the learning journey, outlining and embedding college and course expectations

Requirements

Experience of delivering ESOL qualifications up to level 2 with exam board Trinity or other exam boards
Appropriate teaching qualification for the Post 16 sector
Qualification in the subject specialism
Experience of teaching in Adult Education or Further education
